This awareness inside of you actually opens new horizons of thought, processing, and knowledge which then lead you to associate with like-minded people. You start reading and trying to look more for questions and answers because these questions and answers are actually arising from within your consciousness. Suddenly, you will find yourself eating healthy and looking at the ingredients. You will also start observing your neighborhood surroundings. You will want to be associated more with nature and your surroundings.

These changes are happening because you are now transitioning into a position of understanding the purpose of your existence in this universe. The universe at this stage gives you indications of why you are there. I often have people asking questions such as why was I born? What am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to find out what my life should be? How am I supposed to know where I go? These questions arise in your mind only when you become a searcher. Then, you start searching. You start singing to the realities of life; you start becoming more inquisitive. You start becoming more aware of your own existence. What makes you aware of your own existence is actually your surroundings.

You will always feel that when you eat clean, you live clean, you like clean, you feel clean, and your thoughts are cleaner than they were before. This cleansing process as mentioned earlier not only actively or passively teaches you, but it also puts you on the right path. When I say right, I mean a more conscious path. Now you are not only aware of all your actions, but you are consciously aware of the consequences of your actions. So, you just don’t do things. First, you are consciously aware of its result; and then, you do the action.

I feel that life is a journey of the individual to discover his own self. When you go on the path of discovering yourself, you have to discover yourself using the objects, findings, and means given to you. A two-year-old in a pool who tries to learn swimming does not put his nose in the water to start getting the feeling of drowning. He does not start by moving his legs and feet to learn swimming. Instead, his natural instinct is to flip flap his legs and arms in order to stay afloat. It is a very interesting sight to see a toddler learn how to swim. It is as if he is in a self-discovery mode. And that is exactly what this life is: a self-discovery mode for each one of us. On this journey called life it is important for you to start observing the small things around you. Everything around you is giving you a story; you need to understand the clues.

As they say… the best things in life often come in small packages…
